A lovely on site restaurant La Cascada (under the giant palapa) serves alternative Mexican cuisine including scrumptious low calorie menu items on its regular menu.

The Aquazul Holistic Spa features the best of natural therapies including Temazcal; a treatment from our Prehispanic heritage. Modern-day Mexicans have recovered this ritual ceremony (similar to a natural outdoor sauna) that was utilized among indigenous cultures as a therapeutic cleansing.

The Vistazul Suites and Spa offer 8 charming Studios and 20 exclusive Suites, all nicely decorated with a contemporary Mexican style and full equipped with all the amenities.

At the Aquazul Spa we feature the only real Temazcal in Los Cabos, the indigenous sweat lodge that has its origins in a Mayan ritual ceremony.

The Temazcal is the most pleasant expression of Mayan traditions in medicine. It consists on a steam bath based on hot stones and medicinal plants inside an adobe igloo. It is known as a sacred act and its perfomed as part of a ceremonial rite where the basic 4 elements (earth, fire, water and air) are honored.

The Temazcal with its igloo shape represents Mother´s Earth womb and when you enter through the door is like going back to the dark, humid and warm place that embrace and protected you in your conception.
